Beneath the Stars

One soul lies beneath the stars Staring out at the infinite Dreaming of all that he could have Thinking of all that holds him back
Too timid to reach out and take what is his Too concerned about tomorrow to appreciate today
The star fell
The stars disappeared The sky was on fire Then it was gone
Everything was gone No regrets from yesterday No today to live in No tomorrow to change the world
